Tanita Olbrich is an artist and filmmaker based in Berlin. Her video installations and films deal with processes of truth production and surveillance technologies. In her work, she analyzes images of surveillance systems and landscape representations, treating them simultaneously as producers and as expressions of territorial and power structures. Using poetry, text or humor she criticizes these structures and conjures new perspectives on ways of perceiving them.
